Service & Maintenance
Regular maintenance of your irrigation system will ensure all components are operating correctly. It will maximize the life and effectiveness of your sprinkler system and minimize surprise repairs and/or replacements. Effective watering is important to the system's efficiency. Contact our irrigation team so we can address the various service and maintenance needs of your specific irrigation system.

Winterizations
Most Canadians would agree that our winters are some of the coldest around. With regular and resilient freezing temperatures throughout the winter, it is important to properly prepare your outdoor faucets and irrigation system. Not doing so can cause remaining water to freeze. This can cause the pipes to crack and even burst. Other irrigation components can be damaged by not properly preparing the system for subzero weather. Contact Mountains Edge Irrigation and schedule your irrigation systems winterization today. Ensure you are properly protecting your system from requiring additional maintenance or repair.

Installations
Installing an irrigation system benefits a home owner in many ways. The owner saves time not having to water the lawn themselves or set out a sprinkler. Additionally they save money by controlling the amount of water the lawn and other vegetation receive. An irrigation system protects your lawn by ensuring regular and consistent watering. Timing settings are also features that make sure your system is watering your yard at the optimal time of day. Contact Mountains Edge Irrigation for any irrigation system questions and inquires.

Repairs
It is not uncommon for irrigation systems to require minor repairs and upgrades. Common problems with irrigation systems can involve broken connections, misting heads, irrigation timing issues, excessive runoff, water pooling, irrigation blockages, controller issues and the requirement of replacement parts. Get in touch with our team and provide us with the details about the problems you are experiencing. We look forward to providing an effective and reasonably priced solution to your issues.

Backflow Prevention Testing &
Cross Connection Repairs
Cross Connection/Backflow Prevention testing is mandatory at the beginning of each irrigation season as per the City of Calgary Bylaw 39.3e to prevent water contamination. Backflow prevention is the part of your irrigation system that stops unwanted gases, liquids and solids from getting back into your drinking supply. These should be installed on all irrigation systems. The point at which a potable water system connects with a non-potable water system are called a cross connection. Contact us today to get yours tested and ensure it is operating correctly.
